The vacancy
About the role
As the Housing Operations Manager, you will be leading and have day to day responsibility for our Housing Services team (HSM’s) and our overall tenancy management service.
It is essential for us to deliver the best service for our residents and you will be responsible for ensuring we have the most effective processes in place to do this.
You will also manage the budgets in these areas, ensuring value for money and you should have in-depth knowledge of Housing services and a proven track record in leadership, housing management and budget management.
Key Responsibilities
To act as a role model in actively putting the customer at the heart of the service. You will engage customers and be able to manage complex cases in partnership with other stakeholders.
Responsibility for ensuring that your team work safely and ensure compliance with Fire risk and other compliance areas in our blocks.
You will be required to work collaboratively across the business, dedicated project managers and with 3rd party stakeholders to deliver the outcomes required
Manage the day to day operations of the Housing services team across around 5000 homes and liaise with our leasehold team for effective management of multi tenure sites .
Ensure accurate invoicing, management reporting and collection of service chargeable work
You will Identify any potential risk issues and ensure these are escalated to the Head of Housing Operations.
About you
Experience of management of specialist housing services within a regulated environment
Experience of developing and delivering service improvement projects
Experience of operational leadership of case management including effective partnership working
Evidence of leading successful, high performing teams
Ability to use insight reports and implement change initiatives as a result
Experience of external and internal partnership working to achieve positive outcomes for customers and the organisation.

How long do we keep your data?
