About the role

Accountable to the Disposals Manager who is part of the wider Asset Optimisation Team, the position will be responsible for the administration tasks and supporting day-to-day management of the tasks required to operate the portfolios within the directorate.

You will ensure all incoming enquiries and requests are acknowledged and responded to or allocated to the relevant team member to respond to. This will require effective communication and customer service across a variety of stakeholders including colleagues, customers, consultants and other agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work closely with Disposals Manager, Contracts Manager and Specialist Project Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the asset programmes. This includes Disposals, Planned Maintenance and a Private Sector Rent Portfolio.
  • You will be responsible for managing the teams central inbox and ensuring enquiries are acknowledged efficiently and assigned to relevant team members where required.
  • You will be responsible for keeping all necessary systems up to date and ensuring that changes to third party systems are completed in a timely manner.
  • To coordinate appointments and access to properties for external consultants and contractors.
  • To provide financial administrative support to the Disposals Manager and Head of Asset Optimisation.
  • To produce and support the wider team in the production of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • To arrange and attend team meetings and to produce minutes and action trackers.

About you

  • Strong experience of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and with minimum supervision.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • To be detailed orientated and ensure data is input accurately.
  • Experience of dealing with invoicing systems preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge or experience of the housing sector desirable but not a requirement.
